My Mysterium 2009 p1

Whoooooooooooooooooooooooo

What fun what fun!

We (me and dad) started Wednesday night around six.

It was just driving for hours.

Nuvvy and Kazi were no help at all.

But, one night of endless black, and we finially hit Butte, Montana.

We ate our fill of pancakes at McDonalds.

And we went on our merry way.

Vrooooooooooooooom!

Now, Montana is pretty vast. We spent most of Thursday driving through it.

Few and far between was there anything remotely cool.

Just, lots...

...And Lots...

...Of desert...

...And cars...

...and mountains...

...and trees...

...And Potatoes apparently.

Wait a minute. That's Idaho!

Let me tell you, those road signs telling you your state are easy to miss. Though, changes in the roads aren't.

But, yes, once you know what to look for, you're easily there.

A brief, disorienting drive off the highway, and we located our hotel, and got our room. Second floor, room 237. Right next to the fire escape. Nice tree, eh?

It twas a box-standard hotell room, one bed.

Random mirrors, a tv set here, a mini fridge there, a random Microwave and... Microwave!!? DING! Cool~!

The awesome closet space that's never ever used by anyone.

Did I mention the random mirrors?

And, of course, it wouldn't be complete without the infamous Hotel sideways lightswitches and free plastic cups!

Kazi embraces her Japanese nature

Downstairs, we notified the Mysterium Desk of our pre-regristration, and I recieved a neet bag of swag.

The group got together, we chatted for a while, and then we all dismissed for the night.

EDIT: (forgotten pics)

There was supposed to be a pre-con pool party, but the room was already occupied by other hotel goers from elsewhere. A bunch of teenagers using water guns, splashing wildly, and using glass tables as shields. AS. SHIELDS. SMoKiaGB! SHIELDS!!?

Well, Thurday was a blast. A perfect way to start the weekend.

Did the rest follow suit? We shall see...
