My Mysterium 2009 p2

The next morning, Friday, we headed to the fifth floor, and got breakfast.

The view was cool!

Soon, explorers from all over gathered in the room outside the main room, as we waited for things to get set up

We discussed image edits,

Played iMyst,

And more iMyst,

Stood around talking,

And generally just had a good time!

Things went back and forth between Book crazy and Cone crazy once the cameras were brought out.

Some were sensable though.

They surfed the net and explored 3d versions of the cavern.

The room FINALLY opened, and we got to fill it with our personalized brand of Cavern Crazy.

"Welcome to A Beginer's Bevin! Please don't play in the fountain."

There was an announcement, We would have lunch tomorrow not before the Cyan trip, but AT CYAN WORLDS! How Cool!

Someone brought an Ayoheek table.

And tables representing the five guilds were set up, too!

Someone clever stole a table from Kirel. Along with a box of Tshirts, and a banner.

Did I mention that the cones came too?

"All Bow to Eddie the Cone King!"

Others tried to solve some puzzles that would make sense later on in the age...

My dad took over the camera, It doesn't like him.

Like the hat?

Explorers Don't use hands. We KICK!

Explorers also Cone anyone AFK. :/

{NOT SHOWN: someone brought FIREMARBLES!!!}

Am I missing something here?

Later, we saranaded those on CyanChat with renditons of Still Alive and Still Discribed.

And Greydragon got a dance-off to the tune of Chuck going.

Soon after, a group of us went down to the pool, to re-enact the missed pool party.

It was fun, but then we got tired when the firemarbles went out, so we called it a night.

A perfect first day (or second, depending) for Mysterium 2009!

Would Cyan be as much fun? We'll see...

My Mysterium 2009 p1

Whoooooooooooooooooooooooo

What fun what fun!

We (me and dad) started Wednesday night around six.

It was just driving for hours.

Nuvvy and Kazi were no help at all.

But, one night of endless black, and we finially hit Butte, Montana.

We ate our fill of pancakes at McDonalds.

And we went on our merry way.

Vrooooooooooooooom!

Now, Montana is pretty vast. We spent most of Thursday driving through it.

Few and far between was there anything remotely cool.

Just, lots...

...And Lots...

...Of desert...

...And cars...

...and mountains...

...and trees...

...And Potatoes apparently.

Wait a minute. That's Idaho!

Let me tell you, those road signs telling you your state are easy to miss. Though, changes in the roads aren't.

But, yes, once you know what to look for, you're easily there.

A brief, disorienting drive off the highway, and we located our hotel, and got our room. Second floor, room 237. Right next to the fire escape. Nice tree, eh?

It twas a box-standard hotell room, one bed.

Random mirrors, a tv set here, a mini fridge there, a random Microwave and... Microwave!!? DING! Cool~!

The awesome closet space that's never ever used by anyone.

Did I mention the random mirrors?

And, of course, it wouldn't be complete without the infamous Hotel sideways lightswitches and free plastic cups!

Kazi embraces her Japanese nature

Downstairs, we notified the Mysterium Desk of our pre-regristration, and I recieved a neet bag of swag.

The group got together, we chatted for a while, and then we all dismissed for the night.

EDIT: (forgotten pics)

There was supposed to be a pre-con pool party, but the room was already occupied by other hotel goers from elsewhere. A bunch of teenagers using water guns, splashing wildly, and using glass tables as shields. AS. SHIELDS. SMoKiaGB! SHIELDS!!?

Well, Thurday was a blast. A perfect way to start the weekend.

Did the rest follow suit? We shall see...
